Tillie - 8-17-96 to 7-24-09 RIP sweet girl

Our Tillie passed over to the rainbow bridge a few weeks before her 13th birthday. She was dx with osteosarcoma and we kept her comfortable at home until the pain meds no longer helped. We still miss our old girl and I think about her every day.

Tillie joined the Magnificent Seven when she was 11 years old. She is a retired racer and her racing name was "Odd Matilda". She raced in Wisconsin in the late 90s. How she got to Arizona is a mystery. She was a stray that was found wandering in the desert and was picked up by ACO. The local adoption group picked her up after the waiting period had expired and she was later placed with us.

Tillie is the sweetest old girl. She is always ready with licks and kisses and is always happy to be with you. Her quality of life has greatly improved since coming to live with the M7 pack which is clearly evidenced in her shining coat, sparkling eyes and cheerful demeanor.

I wonder what she was like as a puppy because you can see she does have a devilish streak when she runs to the yard barking just to look back and see if the rest of the M7 pack is following her.

She does get cold in the winter so we got her a special pair of greyhound jammies to keep her warm.
