Figgy - DOB February 17, 1999

We first met Figgy at a greyhound adoption event called a meet and greet in March 2006. She was such a happy girl with alert ears and a wagging tail. She was very good natured and she got along so well with our only 2 greyhounds at the time Bella and Kingman.

Her racing name was Figs Ari Runsum and we found out that she was returned to the adoption group after being in a home for four years. Her family no longer wanted a larger dog. We were asked to take her in our car and drop her off at the foster home. She jumped right in with our other two and made herself right at home. I knew at that moment that she needed to join our family and we sealed the deal about a week later.

She settled into life in our home very easily and has become very much the "middle child". She gets along with everyone and just loves to lounge on the couch or any available bed. She likes to wear jammies to keep warm during the cold winter nights.

When she first came to live with us, we noticed that she did have some difficulty sitting from a standing position and getting up from laying down. We heard about a new supplement at that time called DGP we started her on it and saw a dramatic improvement in less than a month and she has been on it ever since.

As you can see she is a very happy girl and we are just delighted that she is part of the M7 pack.
